Winter lectionary series

During January and February we will be taking a deep dive into the Gospel of Matthew. Come and hear about the Good News of Jesus through the lens of Matthew. We will wrestle with things we have assumed about the stories we remember and hear some new insights that will help us today.

All are welcome and we hope to see you there!

Lent sermon series

How do we walk with Christ-daily follow him, grow in him, and faithfully serve him? In the Gospels, Jesus modeled for us the Christian spiritual life. The apostles taught it in their writings. And the church has, through the last 2,000 years, sought to pursue this Christian spiritual life.

Join us, starting March 1st, as we explore five essential spiritual practices that are rooted in Jesus' own walk with God and taught throughout the New Testament. Each of these practices is a part of our daily walk with Christ and an essential part of growing together in the church. Deepen your walk with Christ as we focus on the five essential practices of worship, study, serving, giving, and sharing of our faith.

Our Lenten Study will be on Tuesday evenings at 7pm in the Library. All are welcome and we hope to see you there!

General Conference 2020

General Conference 2020 will be held in Minneapolis, MN from May 5th-15th. Every four years delegates from around the world gather to consider important matters facing the global church. One such issue is whether the United Methodist Church will face schism. There are many proposals out there and the media has already declared a split. Join us February 18th or 25th to hear more about some of proposals and some of the implications for our local church. This will be a time of information sharing, conversation, and prayer. We hope to see you there!
